    Работать Ryan начал в возрасте восьми лет, снимаясь в рекламе, фотографируясь для печатной продукции, и играя в местном театре Оклахомы. В 10 лет Ryan отправляется в Лос-Анджелес со своим менеджером для прохождения интервью и собеседований. Его первой главной ролью было участие в телесериале NBC, The Mommies.
    Кроме работы в кино Ryan посещает Eastern Oklahoma County Technology Center где, полагаясь на свою любовь к конструированию и интерес к информационным технологиям, занимается в классе мультимедийных презентаций.
    Ryan активно поддерживает Neonatal Parents Network of Oklahoma, незасисимую обещственную сеть организаций для поддержки семей с тяжелобольными детьми. А еще он участвует в Eagle Mount, организации, которая прводит программы по активности и досугу (лагери, лыжные- и велопоходы) для детей с физическими недостатками.
